The Israeli military exercise base, near the Polish border, was hit by several rockets this Sunday, officials say.
So far, nine people killed by the attack have been reported, while 57 others have been injured, said region governor Lviv.
He says Russia fired 30 missiles on the military object.
This attack in this area is near Poland and potentially a warning to NATO, which often uses the base as a training site. /abcnews. al
