More than 450,000 Ukrainian refugees have entered Poland since Russian troops began an invasion in their country last Thursday.
The number was confirmed by Poland's Deputy Interior Minister Pawel Szefernacker this morning.
He said the number of people crossing the border dropped slightly Tuesday to 98,000 from a record 100,000 on Monday.
The United Nations estimates that 660,000 Ukrainians have so far fled their homes, while Russian troops have launched attacks in numerous cities.
It is thought that this number could increase to four million by the end of the conflict, causing fear of a major humanitarian crisis, writes SkyNews, broadcasts Klanoskova.tv.
