Marina Ovsynnikova, employee of Channel One, was presented at the Ostankino Court in Moscow today during the day.
On Monday, she had held a banner in which a slogan condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine was written behind a news presentation of Channel One.
State investigators are looking at the possibility that it could be punished under the new law that has allowed imprisonment for up to 15 years, Russian news agency TASS says, citing a source of law enforcement.
However, it becomes known that she has accepted a fine sentence after it was found guilty of breaking the law on protests.
