In Kharkiv, the Ukrainian Army destroyed the Russian Tigers' column”, it says, in posting Ukrainian forces.
According to local authorities, Kharkivi, the second largest city in Ukraine where the run-ins earlier this morning, is under their control.
The enemy has been demoralized. Throwing out equipment, surrendering to a group of 5-10”, it says in another post of the Ukraine Land Forces.
Kharkivi, with a population of about 1.4 million citizens, is located less than 20 miles (32 km) south of the Russian border. Russian troops had approached the city almost immediately after the invasion of Thursday.
