Prime Minister Kurti thanked the two former presidents for the visit and for continuing commitment and support for Kosovo.
Speaking of governance for about a year, Prime Minister Kurti said we are leading the region to good management of pandemic, with already vaccinating two of the thirds of the adult population. He also reported on the landmark economic results: economic growth of 9.9 percent, increasing customs revenues for over a third compared with the previous year. While exports have increased by 66 percent, budget revenues have increased by 30 percent, and foreign investment by 53 percent, Prime Minister Kurti said.
The two former presidents praised Prime Minister Kurti for his duties and successes in current governance. They expressed confidence that he will continue to carry out the duty given to citizens with responsibility and authority.
Former President Topi stressed the need for more regional co-operation and better co-ordination between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania, especially with European Union institutions, including the issue of visa liberalisation.
The former Croatian president, Mesic, said increased commitment is needed on the international level, because as he said, Serbia is continuing lobbying campaigns for Kosovo's recognition.
Regarding dialogue with Serbia, Prime Minister Kurti said it is the process that should be in the centre of mutual recognition, towards normalising relations between the two states.
