The inspector reacts to the case of police officer Amir Hoxha: We didn't recommend his suspension.

The IPK said they didn't make any recommendation for his suspension.

According to the IPK, Hoxha has been suspended by Kosovo Police.

“Referring to numerous requests, we announce that the Kosovo Police Inspectorate is not handling this case and has made no recommendation for suspension and that this suspension has been made by Kosovo Police. Based on IPK's legal authorisations, IPK investigators investigate all criminal acts committed by Kosovo Police officers, indiscriminately degrees and positions during the duty exercise or outside of it”, the report says.

Kosovo Police Inspectorate today since the early hours of the morning has accepted numerous requests regarding the suspension of a police official at the Pristina Regional Directorate.

Referring to numerous demands, we announce that the Kosovo Police Inspectorate is not handling the case and has made no recommendation for suspension and that this suspension has been made by Kosovo Police.

Based on IPK legal authorisations, IPK investigators investigate all criminal acts committed by Kosovo Police officers, indiscriminately degrees and positions during the duty exercise or abroad.

The IPK suspension recommendation takes place in cases of criminal proceedings and when it is in the interest of the investigative procedure
