EIU has ranked Serbia highest among all other Western Balkan countries in the democracy index. This has surprised analyst Bieber, who asks why Kosovo is not included in this list and what base Serbia is ranked best of the 6th Balkans.
The strange democracy gap from EIU. Still ignores Kosovo and ranks Serbia better, including in the electoral process and pluralism than Montenegro and Northern Macedonia. Why is Kosovo not included and what is the basis to list Serbia's best in BB6 in terms of democracy? It doesn't match other indexes and reality”, Bieber wrote on Twitter.
