He has called them unacceptable, while saying that the invasion of Ukraine from Russia could occur within the next 24 hours.
“Russia is at the peak of readiness for a full invasion of Ukraine and will likely take place within the next 24 hours. There are reports that there are bombings and things of nature that suggest that this is already happening”, Morrison told the BBC.
Australia and New Zealand have invited Russian ambassadors to voice their opposition to Russia's actions.
Russia on Monday recognised the independence of Donetzk and Luhansk, two separatist territories of Ukraine controlled by pro-Russian separatists.
