An extraordinary session

While another electronic meeting was held yesterday by the Government of Kosovo, which marked the 111th meeting for the mandate.

The executive at this summit from a distance has approved the initiative for linking the agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union on Kosovo's participation in the EU programme Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values.

This programme is reportedly the continuation of the previous “Europe programme for citizens” aimed at supporting and developing open, equal and inclusive society based on democratic rights and the rule of law.

Also, another initiative received the cabinet's approval -- that of linking the financial agreement between Kosovo and the European Union for the IPA 2023 programme.

The government says the European Union has pledged to help countries in the region with a package for energy in operation to overcome the current energy crisis. In this framework for Kosovo, 75m euros have pledged direct budget support under the annual programme IPA 2023.
