We condemn violent incidents and attacks. The EU calls for responsibility and suspension, for the benefit of the local population. EULEX and KFOR are present on the ground and continue patrolling and monitoring the situation”, Stano said at a press conference.
The focus, he said, should be on normalising Kosovo- Serbia “because it is essential for the European route for both countries, and even for the calming of the situation, and for enlargement, something the EU has said over and over again, at the Tirana summit”.
Regarding the sanctioning of Serbian List Deputy Chairman Milan Radojicic from the United Kingdom, Stano said the EU does not discuss these issues in public.
Every time it comes to sanctions, you know sanctioning is something we don't discuss publicly, as far as possible discussions are concerned, suggestions about possible proposals are not going to comment, but I can say that the EU and member states are responsible for deciding on any measure when we are dealing with such matters, are looking at the situation very closely and following it, and they know who does what. If we need consensus that we have to do something about specific people, then member states will discuss and decide. But it's up to me to speculate on this matter”, Stano stressed. /
