He has reiterated US support for Kosovo, saying that no other state in the world that supports Kosovo more than America.

Asked whether the US would take the lead in the dialogue process, Escobar has said he doesn't believe that would happen.

“Dialog must be developed in the EU, both states have aspirations towards EU accession. We co-operate closely with European partners”, Escobar said.

Asked whether there is a set deadline for reaching the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, Escobar has said it would be good to reach a “as soon as possible”.
