Mustafa writes big words for their contribution, though he says they are not reconciled in the past.
Full announcement:
At the beginning of this week, I visited former KLA leaders and leaders of the highest institutions of the Republic of Kosovo for a long and most important state-building establishment, President Hashim Thaci, and Chief Prime Minister Kadri Veselin and Jakup Krasniqi, who are being held together with other fighters in custody in The Hague. I was delighted to find them well, filled with idealism; convinced of their innocence and the righteous fight of the KLA, ready to defend the truth. I may have agreed or disagreed with one or the other on party and government concepts, but it is undeniable of their courage and contribution to the protection of the population in the harshest areas of war and the occupation of inhuman massacres by Milosevic's military and state, as is undeniable as is their contribution to peace at the Rambouillet Conference, to the transformation of the KLA immediately after the war, in Vienna negotiations for independent state, in declaring independence and building democratic institutions. I hope that this process, initiated by Russian-Serbian false construction in Dick Marty's report, wins justice! IM
