“Mazi expects the participation of Prime Minister Ana Brnabiq at the summit under the Berlin Process, organised by Chancellor Olaf Scholz”, German Ambassador to Serbia Anke Konrad told Blic, and praised that dialogue for normalising relations between Belgrade and Pristina has a central role when it comes to the stability of the Western Balkans.
Conrad stressed that dialogue has a central role even when it comes to releasing resources for the central development tasks of the two countries and for the process of approaching the European Union.
“These goals should not be forgotten”, the German ambassador to Belgrade said, and stressed that the push for progress in the dialogue should come from Belgrade and Pristina, and stressed that “fully supports the co-ordinating role of EU special envoy Miroslav Lajcak”.
Konrad noted that rising energy prices and the dramatically reduced availability of certain energy sources are a problem throughout Europe.
It is clear that the solution can only be found together. One important question for us is how we can support Western Balkan countries on important energy security issues and it is clear that diversification of energy sources, through increased renewable resources, and, for example, using the full potential of the wind and the sun, play a central role in finding a” solution, Conrad said.
