Diplomat scandal: If the diploma purchase is reserved a month earlier, the student receives discounts

Trade with diplomas is a disturbing fact. Only one social network research is enough and various Web sites appear online with offers for diploma themes. Their prices range from the type of theme, the number of pages, and the time they need to complete.

The signal on this phenomenon affecting the integrity of education in our country has called for clarification of measures taken by the University of Pristina's Rectorate for students, who are identified as having made falsification/deception in preparing the diploma theme.

Meanwhile, the Student Parliament has indicated that we strongly condemn such a phenomenon and are willing, in co-operation with the UPI Rectorate management, to initiate procedures that would prevent that from happening.

“During this period leading with the Student Parliament, it is not that we have heard or encountered in cases when a student has paid for the conclusion of Diploma's theme, but whatever it is, we will work intensively in collaboration with the UP Rectorate management, so that we don't come to such situations, which in addition to clouding Diplomma's importance, would diminish the image of 111x1 University, they said.

According to them, it is meaningless and unacceptable for students in Kosovo to attend studies for years and eventually pay for Diploma Theme.
