A court ruling was taken a week ago, October 3rd, in the case where protagonists are two journalists: Arben Ahmeti and Valentina Ahmeti.
The case has been kept out of the media and public eye until Valentina Ahmeti's lawyer posted a status on the social network “Facebook”, where he spoke of winning his client against Arben Ahmeti, director of Kanal 10.
However, Besnik Berisha, the lawyer of journalist Ahmeti, has claimed Gashi's statement constitutes slander, since the court case has no winner.
According to him, the court ruling envisions penalisation for the second: For Arben Ahmeti as well as Valentina Ahmeti. The decision envisions a one-year security measure against both.
No one dares disturb, attack, insult, threaten or damage each other's property over the past 12 months.
The court has rejected both of them's demands not to approach each other on Channel 10, television, where they both work, at a distance of 200 meters. Similarly, the court has rejected two other demands of Valentina Ahmeti.
The request has been denied for journalist Arben Ahmeti to be obliged to pay his ex-wife's vehicle expenses.
Also, the former wife's request for Arben Ahmeti to be forced to promote UBT 10 college in Kanal, so that Valentina Ahmeti can be educated free of charge in this private college.
The claim that Valentina Ahmeti has won the case against Canal 10's director is absolutely untrue and ridiculous. For those who don't know, we've never contested the defense request for defense order, but we supported and exercised counterproposal, which, despite being opposed by Mrs. Ahmeti and her representatives were approved by the court, and as a result, we have mutually effective defence order. So, the loser is the one who has rejected the proposal, not the one who supported it and demanded the same”, the Berisha lawyer has declared.
The other version, meanwhile, has provided Gashi on the social network, Facebook and the media.
He said the decision was made in favour of his client, so Valentina Ahmeti.

And in Facebook, Gashi has written “when the client is honest, the case is easily won because the Court decides correctly”.
