An almost collapsed building, according to Memaliyaaj municipality inventory, is the health centre of the village of Rerapaj.
But unfortunately, the inhabitants of this village never performed the function for which it was built.
About 50 village families have been forced to remain without health service for months. No one has come to replace the last one who has fled to exile in Germany.
Residents, most of them old and with various diseases, are forced to travel for miles to Memaliyayji to get the most basic health service.
While those who are unable both health and economically have found alternative solutions.
The guys who can afford a car and go to Tepelene. The others, they take needles and make them beans, because we don't have anywhere to do”, residents say.
The request of these residents for a nurse seems to continue to remain unfulfilled, at least until some nurse applies for the hot spot. That was also the answer outside the cameras that local authorities give to this problem. /A2
