Blerim Vela, who is chief of staff in Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani's cabinet, has reacted after the Serbian referendum ended.
He said that despite threats from Serbia, in Kosovo it was a quiet day.
“Serbia's illegal structures failed to hold the referendum. Kosovo took a principled stance that preserves regional peace and stability by maintaining its sovereignty and territorial integrity”, Vela has written on his Twitter account.
We remember that during today, Serbia has held the referendum on constitutional changes, while the Kosovo Assembly, through a resolution holding this referendum, also managed to stop it on the country's territory.
