President Vjosa Osmani reacts after adoption of resolution against Serbia's referendum

Osmani has said Kosovo institutions have unanimously refused holding this referendum in Kosovo.

She said she would continue co-operation with allies in empowering sovereignty and maintaining Kosovo's territorial integrity, so, as Osmani said, Serbia's destabilising actions.

“Welcome consensus among parliamentary groups in the Kosovo Republic Assembly and the adoption of the resolution against holding Serbia's referendum on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. The institutions of the Republic of Kosovo unanimously refuse to hold Serbia's referendum contrary to constitutional norms and international practice. We will continue co-operation with our allies in empowering sovereignty and maintaining Kosovo's territorial integrity to Serbia's destabilising and unilateral actions”, it has written in a post in “Facebook”

Meanwhile, out of 77 deputies in the Assembly, 76 have voted in favour of the resolution's adoption for not allowing Serbia's constitutional referendum in Kosovo, no vote against and 1 abstention. /Express/
