Hysni Syla has long served as Mitrovica municipality spokesman and was at the same time the first spokesman for this municipality.
He served as director of the Culture Centre “Rexhep Mitrovica” in Mitrovica.
Hysni Syla also worked as a journalist and also headed the Association of Journalists in Mitrovica.
The 71-year-old was author of several books and monographs.
