Bislimi through a Facebook post said Heavenier will take over the leadership of the American Embassy in Pristina.
He stressed that the new ambassador will come to Pristina to send towards completion the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process, which he calls a prolonged process.
On the other hand, he said Ambassador Havenier will work to move forward and other process of advancing Kosovo.
“Ambassador Havenier is very clear in Kosovo and the region. The country's biggest political challenge remains the process of dialogue with Serbia. Ambassador Havenier comes to Pristina to send down this prolonged process of Kosovo- Serbia and to advance other process of advancing our Republic” has written Bislimi.

The new 2022 year I started with a very productive and important meeting since the first day of work after the holiday season: with the new US ambassador. Jeff Houvenier, who will be in Pristina in just a few days to take over the leadership of the American Embassy there. Ambassador Havenier is a excited official of American foreign service, veteran of the Kosovo issue as well, because he was sent to the State Department to negotiations in Ramboullet and later to Vienna.
Our research was focused on the most important policy topics in Kosovo and our relationship with the US. As executive member of the Albanian-American Civic League Board, our only lobbie organisation at Capitol Hill now for over three decades, I am more than happy to say that Washington's determination to support Kosovo remains steadfast. Ambassador Havenier is very clear about political landscape in Kosovo and the region.
The country's biggest political challenge remains the process of dialogue with Serbia. Ambassador Havenier comes to Pristina to send down this prolonged process of Kosovo- Serbia and further process of advancing our Republic.
In my quality as a former Deputette and now a member of the LDK leadership I want to re-emphasize once more with a loud and clear voice that the only platform guaranteeing our success in overcoming this major political challenge, such as dialogue, is the difference between the dialogue, and especially its successful outcome, is the national interest of Kosovo and exceeds every party and government!
Neither the government nor the opposition have the ease of playing with two standards in terms of dialogue and Achilles' newspaper in that process of association of Serb majority municipalities. Any attempt to get tired political points on these topics is totally unacceptable by the United States!
In the end, but not least, on the 19th anniversary of Colonel Tahir Zemaj's macabre murder, along with his son Enis, and cousin Hasan, I couldn't help but insist on whiteening crimes like this one against the Zemajs and many others.
This country exists today thanks to the sacrifice of many generations, active resistance, liberation war, and President Rugova's vision (in permanent friendship with the United States), which the ambassador had personally recognized and for which he enjoys special respect!
The US, as our partner and irreplaceable ally, has not invested in Kosovo in vain since the first Congressional Congress in 1986 until now. The Kosovo state project is also a project of American geostrategic interests. Anyone in Belgrade or find out who claims he can undo or damage this Republic to dysfunction will be sorry!
P.S. Even though the meeting was scheduled to take place, because of the Shutara antiConvid-19 measures at the State Department, the meeting was held online.
