Murati at a media conference has indicated that the growth projection of 7.9 percent so far, according to him, would be two - way.
This is happening because of the opening of the economy following the measures taken to prevent the spread of the David-19 pandemic, but it seems to forget that.
When we've received the mandate we've designed an increase of 7.9 percent, but given the extraordinary performance in the second quarter and expectations that will be in the third quarter, that figure we need to restore once more to projections, and the new ones are probably going to be over 10 percent. The economic growth projected by the end of the year, we are sure to exceed the digital figure”, Murati said.
According to him, 22 thousand new jobs were created within a year.
“As far as employment is concerned, if we take the figures at the end of the second quarter, which is June, and compare the declaration in the Tax Administration that has been in late June last year, we have an increase of 22 thousand jobs. In the past year, at the end of June, 342,000 jobs were declared, while this year there are 364 thousand jobs”, he said.
In the end, Murati has shown that crediting banks has also marked growth.
“Even lending has marked growth for this year, where there are 192m euros -- a figure that has never occurred before in a single month” -- has concluded.
