The news has revealed the footballer himself, who after meeting Croatia's coach, Zlatko Dalic, has decided to respond positively to the invitation for the next two World Cup preliminary matches -- to Cyprus and Slovakia.
My family comes from Slavonski Brod, a town east of Croatia and is a dream to me to represent my country of origin. The Croatian Football Federation and coach Dalic have been urging me, offering me a very good perspective, so I have said yes and expect to make the contribution to the field as soon as I can, 21-year-old defender said.
Josip Stanisic has grown up in the Beyerni age teams of Munich and debuted with the first season team last year, while this year has started quite well, as under the direction of Julian Nagelsmann has landed on the field in full 7 matches.
Earlier, the footballer has worn Germany's U19 fanla, but it seems that the immediate gathering into Croatia's first team has lured him more than to continue his journey with teams of ages at “panzerat”.
