Alarm at Germany's camp, players face poisonous snake at US

The German National National training camp in the US has faced an unusual situation during the 2026 World Cup, as a poisonous snake has been seen near the team's base.
Captain Joshua Kimmitch confirmed that the players have been warned of danger, finding that it is a toxic species.
We saw a snake yesterday and they told us it was poisonous. If he bites you, you should go to the hospital. I don't think you're going to die, but of course it's dangerous”, Kimmitch said.
The German midfielder added that the team is being very careful to avoid contact with animals in the area.
According to BILD reports, the serpent in question was a Copperhead, a toxic species often found in the state of North Carolina, where Germany's camp is located. /Periscopi/
