Personal is political, policy is personal... These were among the main mantras of Vetevendosje activists for years, and they were considered the formidable emanderial find in the mediocre circles of their leadership. Among other things, they were thought of as a mobilizing principle, given the conviction that any political phenomenon or event they disagree with is guilty of having a name and a surname. By the belief that people are far easier off the streets to oppose a man or a group of people who have names and surnames than to reject any political process or international principle.

It was a tactic to promote outright, personal hatred, and it was a strategy for legitimizing revenge. It was an appeal to the frustrated social strata especially, the imaginary post-war proletariat so that it will not tire out of understanding the abstract concepts of the complex post-reliance reality, such as political and interethnic consensus, protectorate and international obligations, regional interdependence, the necessity of privatisation, and, generally, politics like co-operation and compromise. On the contrary, for years they were told that besides being harmful, these concepts had human names and surnames. Individuals, both local and international, were guilty and held responsibility for all. So, human elimination is the elimination of the problem that Joseph Stalin once meant. According to this logic, all that was to be done is the public appointment of the guilty and their continued personal denigration as mean, ugly, imprecise, unscrupulous, traitors and thieves.

Over the years, this personal policy project, which was imposed by the Vetevendosje organisation, evolved into a dominant discours of interpreting political and social reality in the country. It was discurs aimed at simplifying and concrete the extreme of any complex phenomena or unclear processes for ordinary citizens. Thus, chronologically, guilty of post-war chaos are the commanders; guilty of the constitutionalism of institutions were UNMIK's UNMIK, guilty of independence quite halfway was local leadership and Martti Ahtisaari, guilty of dialogue was Hashim Thaci; guilty of association/Zyednicia was Isa Mustafa; guilty of exchange option was Hashim Thaci, Edi Rama and Aleksandar Vuciq; guilty of ousting the government; Richard Grant was guilty of Washington; Washington's Agreement is guilty for the Hague; Edi Rama, etc....

Today, the ancient mantra of Vetevendosje that politics is personal has become state doctrine that legitimises public persecution of individuals and the extreme denigration of political opponents, through an arsenal of unmarked insults so far in the short political history of Kosovo Albanians. He's even moving forward by taking on the detailed proportions of a moral indiscretion in anyone's judgment and arbitrary punishment, according to the logic of the articulated so accurately a few days ago by Adnan R.V. during an interview at HINA DPS at Fidan: It doesn't matter what you're talking about, but who's talking! In short, according to Rrustem, a man regarded as hajen and a traitor cannot tell any truth, so he must remain silent forever. He is not to be trusted even if he claims that the earth is round.

Most of the time, and the easiest part was observed during the confusion of the past two weeks, when Kosovo refused to take part in the Balkan Open regional summit. The public condemnation of this meeting in Kosovo public opinion and through social networks has thus gone on: it began by being attacked as Serbia's/Vucciki's diversion against our citizenship and ended up naming Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, again to our citizenship. A week later, it continued, with the contradiction of former Yugoslav musicist Goran Bregovic's guest from the Korca municipality at the local beer festival. Even here, the public sentence began by attacking Bregovic as a host of massacres against Albanians, went on to insult Corca's Together for lack of sensitivity and patriotism and ended again, condemning Edi Rama for the main organiser of this national and cultural tragedy. All in the end, the ongoing controversy, however, degraded little who could imagine in the last 30 years: mutual accusations between Kosovo and Albania of treason, servilism, national and cultural inferiority, patriotic folklore, etc.

What is happening to Kosovo society today? Furthermore, what is expected to happen if the possibility of this state of collective anger, of willing for the endless hatred of anyone who disagrees with you, of the mood to revile, insult, tried, and condemned without letup, is averted? How did we come to this point of unique incompatibility to each other, and how did we turn our arrogance and intolerance into state and government politics?

Of course, we did so with an individual vote in free elections. It was, therefore, the will of the citizens of Kosovo. The change was reportedly voted on February 14, 2021. Maybe. From what is being seen up to today, only the expression of personal education and collective conscience has changed. Today, you can reproach and insult anyone by name and surname, 24 hours a day. You can judge it, deign it in cafes, on television, on portals and social networks, personally taking any process, phenomenon or political stance. Today, everything has a name, except for the people. He remains anonymous, victim and innocent who occasionally comes out and votes.
