Latifi has said that prior to the war, these photographs were taken by Milosevic's police officers and Arkan's paramilitaries, and post-war vebberies.
According to him, the purpose of leaving these pictures remains the same.
A hodge in Karaqevo has taken pictures of Skenderbeu, Ibrahim Rugova, of other national figures from the wall of an object where it is being kept an image. Before the war these pictures stripped us of Milosevic's police and of Arkan's paramilitaries, after the war, and after the Wahhabi hordes. The times are different, photographers have different names, but the goal remains the same: to combat the Albanian national identity. And what we call the state of Kosovo closes our eyes and ears”, Latifi wrote.
