Turkey's President Recep Tayip Erdogan's statement that, along with the US president, will lobby to bring new recognitions of Kosovo, has caused great hearts in Serbia.
Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has reacted today, saying that “will be protected”.
“Turkey is power, Erdigan is a great leader, I'm small and Serbia is less important, but it's not so small to try not to resist, because we're protecting ours. This (Kosovo v.j.) is not (land v.j.) Turkish, has not been and will not be. We have to defend it”, Vuciq said, during his tour of the Serbian cities he is developing now and days.
Vuciq, as he has said, hopes Erdogan will ease that stance.
“We alternative don't have. We will protect the people in Kosovo, and you will see that we are not so small”, Vuciqi said, escorts B92 on Wednesday.
Recently, conflicting rhetoric in Serbia has taken off, as parliamentary elections are expected to be held even in spring.
