Former Health Minister Armend Zemaj has reacted after suspicions that hundreds of Decani citizens have been poisoned by drinking water. Through Facebook, Zemaj has requested an investigation into the case.
“Exploring deep concern for the large number of citizens of some of the Decani municipality's villages over suspicion of being contaminated with drinking water”, Zemaj wrote on Facebook.
The public health of citizens cannot be endangered, much less, passed without full analysis of the causes and consequences”, he added.

Director Nasser Ramadani said that in co-operation with the ministry from the seized samples, the second laboratory results have been released, which do not reveal that water coming from the Decani regional water supply is not contaminated.
