Simmons reacts again: I invite Kosovo citizens to make public investigation, decide who is telling the truth

The former head of the EULEX Court of Judges, Malcolm Simmons, has responded to the EU's rule-of-law mission, demanding that it conduct a thorough public investigation, and then “let Kosovo citizens judge who is telling the truth”. Simmons, through a post in his account [...]
Simmons, through a post in his official account at Twitter, has said EULEX has always perverted truth and justice. His reaction comes as a form of counter-reception to the declarations of the mission for rule of law, which named Simmons' statements today in the Assembly as “the selection of lies and speculation”.
“EULEX has repeatedly distorted truth and justice. I invite Lars-Gunnar Wigemark and EULEX in Kosovo to co-operate for a full public investigation. Let the citizens of Kosovo judge who is telling the truth” has written Simmons, until he has mentioned the account of Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

The European Union's mission for rule of law in Kosovo has reacted after today's statements by former Chief Judges of the mission, Malcolm Simmons, who has mentioned many scandals that he says have characterised this European mission.
“If the presence of irregularities was so clear to him, then why didn't he do his job as an overseer and why didn't he immediately alert the EU authorities? Instead of doing that, Simmons officially reported claims of violations involving the EULEX and EEAS staff on September 2, 2017, which is only after several disciplinary proceedings were initiated against him for alleged violations in October 2016. After completing his engagement in EULEX, Simmons no longer served as judges in the United Kingdom”, it was said among other things in their response.
The former chairman of the EULEX Court Assembly, Malcolm Simmons, before MPs today, has said that he does not trust the Special Court.
I have as much confidence in the Special Court as I would have in a court in Russia or Iran. This is the level of confidence that I have in the Specilit Chambers of Kosovo”, Simmons said.
According to him, the Kosovo government should react after saying the Special Court “is there only to punish former KLA commanders”.
