Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq today will be declared an honorary citizen of the Zvecan municipality in Kosovo. As Serbian media medium Tanjug reports at today's ceremony, the director of the so-called Kosovo office in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkovic, will accept a plaque and key to the town of Zvecan on behalf of Vucinqi, broadcast Express.
Before Vuciqi, from this Kosovo municipality, so were Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, as well as Petkovic's predecessor and currently Serbia's ambassador to the US, Marko Djurovic.
The director of the so-called Kosovo office in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkovic, will remain in Kosovo for two days. He has been warned to participate in an organised academy in “Culture House”, on the occasion of marking the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the Zvecan municipality.
He is also scheduled to hold meetings with several Serb families in the area.
This visit by Petkov to Kosovo comes a few days before the second meeting, to be held in Brussels between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
