The “Office of the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo expresses sincere condolences to the Delija and Koja families. In these critical days of grief, we co-operate with family members, and we pray that friendly Germany will pass this serious situation”, said the ZKM communiqué.

Kosovo's government says with concern it is conveying its heavy situation after floods in Germany, where as a result of floods, over 160 people lost their lives while many are still on the run.

“Based on official data, up until this morning, as a result of the flooding, Kosovo citizen has lost his life. As well as a girl with German citizenship V.K., who has a Kosovo parent with citizenship”, says the ZKM response.

The government says that through the Kosovo embassy and consulates, it is closely conveying the situation to Germany and is in contact with the exile in areas affected by this natural disaster.

We're counting on all fellow countrymen who need assistance to be notified at any time at the nearest consulates. This is the emergency number of the Republic of Kosovo General Consulate in Frankfurt am Main, which is available 24 hours: +49 152 290 84 675”, the communiqué says.
