Invited to T7 with Education Lane, she has said that although many years have passed, justice for the victims of sexual assault can be imposed.
Krasniqi has indicated that although there has been no justice in her case, she today is feeling as though her chief of work were condemned.
I'm helping as if the directors of my work were convicted. It's a very special day for all victims of violence. After the years a report is being heard condemning a criminal who has committed such crimes. Ten years isn't enough, but it's the beginning, and I hope the other cases will be punished even longer. My case knows all of Kosovo, but for me this day is very special, very happy”, she has said.
In addition Krasniqi has indicated that even though many years have passed since the last war in Kosovo, victims can testify to the perpetrators of sexual violence crimes.
It has encouraged all victims of sexual violence to seek justice and not to give up.
There are victim names of who are the editors of the work. My case had no justice, others had. Even though they didn't speak publicly, victims demand law. They must not stop. After 22 years, we are now knowing that justice is going out. Although many years have passed, we can achieve justice”, she added.
