Krasniqi: The local government has degraded Prizren kır Totay is the option I will win in October.

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi, accompanied by Vlora Citaku and the candidate for the next chairman of Prizren, Shaqir Totaj, have met professors, teachers and members of the Artistic Society “Agim” to discuss the numerous challenges facing the historic capital in recent years.

Chairman The PDK said Vetevendosje's ill-governance at the country level is best seen in the degradation they have made to Prizren, leaving it unchanged in all areas.

“Despite the fact that Prizren is the second largest city for the population and potential, today it is behind Ferizaj for the economic potential in Kosovo's economy, and this indicates a total representation of local governance that has not helped businesses, nor young people, nor initiatives that have been able to produce a boom of economic development. This is the model of Vetevendosje governance you see in Prizren, you've seen in Pristina before. It is an anemic, apathy, inefficient government which is identified with the budgetary surplus.”, Krasniqi said.

Opposition leader has invited all Prizren citizens indiscriminately to return their hope for this city by voting Shaqir Totay to mayor, saying he and the option Totay represents is the best solution for this city.

I can't say I felt all right because we're seeing a degradation of Prizren City. Unfortunately, this degradation is happening not only in the sense of appearance, but also in the sense of potential that has been blocked in Prizren in the sense of closure that is happening to Prizren. It is a degradation by local governance which is really not enabling the return of potential and the commitment of involving Prizren citizen to further develop this city, which is the spiritual capital of Albanians and the cultural capital of all of us. But I am convinced that this will all change with the arrival of Shaqir Totaj at the head of the Prizren municipality leadership. “, Krasniqi said.

Candidate of PDK for mayor of Prizren, Shacir Totaj said his team of professionals have drafted the new governance programme to develop Prizren.

“Prizren has recently suffered a material degradation in all areas of life and in the future we must give this city life, we must give hope, we must build a system of values that promotes quality. I am very sure that my candidacy, which goes beyond a party, is citizen candidacy with a good team of professionals in different fields.
