Greece recognition? Greek top diplomat mentions Kosovo independence not violating International Law

Greece, which is part of the European Union's non-recognitional five steadfast five, recognises the legality of Kosovo's citizenship. At least that's how her foreign minister declares it. He cites that GND has not found violations in Kosovo's declaration of independence and that it has not been declared by any violent approach. Greek diplomat Nikos [...]
Greek top diplomat Nikos Dendias, who has recently visited Kosovo twice, shows that the state has no negative stance on its citizenship.
He has discovered this during an interview, given a Greek media medium, when asked whether his visits to Pristina are and the expansion of the liaison office, signs that Greece will recognise Kosovo.
The integration of the Western Balkans into the European family is key, since stability in this region has a direct impact on our security. We don't want a “black destruction” on our northern borders. Even though our stance on Kosovo's Bitus quaoʹ has not changed, we maintain a constructive attitude and support the Belgrade dialogue”, Dendias told Real Night, Report Express.
Along with this, journalist Giorgos Siadimas has asked him if this act constitutes Kosovo's independence from Serbia, a violation of international law.
Dendias here has cited the International Court of Justice ruling, under which Kosovo's declaration of independence is not a violation of International Law and that it is not made through means which are considered violent, according to international law.
“The International Court of Justice in The Hague ruled in 2010 that Kosovo's declaration of independence has not violated international law, since it has not been the product of using an illegal force condemned by the Security Council. This has not been the same as the announcement of a scientist in 1983. With Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union dissolved, several new states were formed. None of them were the product of any external attacks”, Dendias says.
In Dendia's recent visit to Kosovo on 4 June, he has said Greece supports visa liberalisation for Kosovo, that his state is deepening economic co-operation with Kosovo and that Greece supports the integration of the entire Western Balkans into the European Union.
The Greek chief's full interview has been published on the official page of Greece's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
