Croatian police have issued a statement detailing the circumstances of the tragic bus accident on the highway near the town of Slavonski Brod.
Croatian police said that at 6:19 this morning they accepted the accident report on A3 Bregana-Lipovac Highway, in the southern lane near the town of Slavonski Brod. In the Police's statement, it has been described how the bus, with 67 passengers and two drivers, emerged from the highway.
Meanwhile, 14 people who survived without injuries to today's terrible morning accident on the highway to Croatia's Slavonski Brod, are currently sheltered and cared for at the Pansion Antonio facility in this city offering hotel services, reports Index.hr.

Regional hospital director Dr. Josip Samardzic said 45 people had been admitted to the hospital since morning, who had sought medical assistance after this serious accident on the highway near Slavonski Brod, and that eight of them were badly injured.
According to the Croatian medium, 24sata.hr, Kosovo bus drivers carrying exiles from Frankfurt to Pristina had been resting in Bregana for half an hour before the accident. There they had changed, and the other driver had taken the bus route.
