The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, has confirmed MP's candidacy of this political subject, Anton Quinn, for mayor of Prizren's municipality in the 17 October local elections.
Abdixhiku has confirmed this by means of a post on é Facebook, until he said that Quinn will offer Prizren what he deserves.
“Anton Quinn, 54-year-old military, husband of the Mirian, father of Christian, Michael, Mark and Driton émandant of the Kosovo Parliament, former Minister of Defence, Commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, deputy head of the Democratic League of Kosovo Democratic League, will be our candidate for the Prizren municipality of”, he wrote.
The LDK chief in Prizren had unanimously come up with the proposal that the former defence minister run for mayor of Prizren.
Municipal elections will be held on October 17th of this year.

Anthony's as tough as stone. Warrior once, warrior always. That's why the last challenge has met as I know it.
I know Anton from the first few days in LDK. An extraordinary friend, a distinguished leader, a true patriot, has always been an honor. Tonight, I was with him in Prizren. We met civil structures, activists and professionals in the city of good people and workers, honest and distinctive, in the city of diversity, culture and progress, in the city of the League.
Anton Quin, 54, a military professional, husband of the Mirian, father of Christian, Michael, Mark and Driton , Kosovo Assembly MP, former Minister of Defence, Commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, deputy head of the Democratic League of Kosovo Democratic League, will be our candidate for Prizren's municipality.
I'm convinced that, as each confrontation has approached for a lifetime, it will give Prizren everything that such a beautiful city deserves.
