Albanians in Montenegro today have won a victory in their efforts to restore properties that the Yugoslav Army took away. In Montenegro's Parliament, with 49 votes for -- none against and abstention -- today has been adopted the special law on the return of olive estate to Valdanos in Ulcinj.
By this law, which Albanian List deputy Genc Nimanbegu has proposed, ends the nearly 30-year-old parliaments whose properties were seized in 1978 by the Yugoslavia Army.
The return of this olive land to the most attractive area of Ulcinj has been a political requirement of Albanians in Montenegro, and with that, after the Tuzi municipality, Montenegro Albanians also realise a major political requirement in the country.
