Terrible Sunday: Five people dead from today's Kosovo accidents

Initially around 10:00, five people have suffered bodily injuries as a result of an accident at the crossroads of the “Uqin Hoti”-“Robbert Doll” in Pristina.

Flora Ahmeti, spokeswoman at Pristina Regional Police confirmed the news.

“Around 10:30, at the crossroads of the “Uqin Hoti”-“Robert Doll”, in Pristina, there has been a traffic accident. Two vehicles were involved in this accident. Based on initial data from the site, five people have suffered bodily injuries. The road traffic unit” is being seized, Ahmeti said.

Then a car was caught in flames as it moved from Hani Elez to Pristina, its burning occurred in the village of Nikaj in Kacanik. The tragedy, however, failed to survive the accident that took place in the village of Koshar, Ferizaj.

The person who suffered body injury was sent for medical treatment at KKUK. Among the victims was another 12.

“As a result of this accident, four people have lost their lives and another person has been injured, who has been sent to QKUK-Pristina”, police have announced.

The caretaker doctor at Ferizaj's QKMF, Bajram Ajeti, has provided details about the serious accident where four people have lost their lives.

We got the information about a serious accident. Once we got to the scene, we saw two cars crash. There were five people in Golf 2 car, and there were two people in the other Audi-type car. At the scene we took a person with serious injuries and calculated the deaths of four others. They've all been in Golf 2 car. The people in the Audi type have received slightly easier injuries and were given assistance at Ferizaj's QKMF and then released home”, Ajeti said at RTV Dukagujini.

And a few hours later, on the Pec-Pistine magistrate's Road, a vet took a man's life as he got off the road.

The news was disclosed by Kosovo Police spokesman Daut Hoxha, until he announced that police have appeared at the scene after the accident.
