With 84 votes for and none against it, Kosovo Assembly deputies approved the Commission for Human Rights' Reappointed Decision, Gender Equality, Missing Persons, Petitions, thus adding the “Victation of Sex Violence during War”.
In this regard, Vetevendosje Movement MP Vasfije Blair has spoken for the first time in the deputy's quality, and called on MPs to support this proposal.
“Between their vote, citizens were willing to support victims of sexual violence in Kosovo, where an important step in this direction was made through the proposal to restore the Commission for Human Rights, Gender Equality, Invisible Persons and Petitions, adding the “category of Sex Violence during War”, Blair said in the Parliament.
