This statement caused so much fuss that its dismissal was demanded.
She had been targeted by criticism earlier, for several earlier statements when she saw evidence criminalising members of the KLA and promised to co-operate with the Special Court.
Also, she was criticised for the ministry's amateur posts running with many spelling mistakes, Periscope follows.
This time, she has reacted to the Swiss newspaper on Twitter.
“The NZZ published the actual false claim that the KLA committed murder after the war ended. The KLA was disbanded after Kosovo's liberation in June 1999. If the crimes are reportedly committed, they are made by individuals, not by KLA” she writes in the first half of the post.
In the second, it speaks of the Serbian “genocide” in Kosovo.
During the genocide in Kosovo, countless men and women in the KLA, FARK and others sacrificed their lives to save innocent civilians from Serb annihilation. Media freedom must always be protected. But that's the truth”, she said.
