The Verge has reported Thursday that the social media company is expected to announce new policy Friday.
This change came as Facebook is facing growing criticism from journalists, lawmakers and its own workers, allowing world leaders and politicians to use the platform by disseminating dezinforms, suppressing criticism and harassment, reports The Guardian.
The company is also expected to announce an answer to its independent supervisor board, which recently cautioned that Donald Trump's Facebook account would not be returned.
Facebook had suspended Trump's account after the former president distributed posts in which he seemed to praise the people who broke into the American Capitol in the January 6th riots.
Social media platforms such as Facebook and long-time Twitter have had policies to non-sensorize politicians, while doing so with ordinary citizens.
This implies that politicians in Kosovo will also submit to the policy of censorship as ordinary citizens.
