The chairman of the Hotel Opera House: About 50 percent of workers have lost their jobs

The chairman of the Hotel and Tourism House, Hysen Sogojeva, has said that this sector is one of the most hit in Kosovo as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He, in Seven Days with Panja in Klan Kosova, has declared that some 17 thousand workers in this field have lost their jobs since the country's first closure as a cause of coronary.

At the time of the summer season when it's the number of people who lost their jobs that used to be about 30,000. If we estimate that 70 per cent were affected, the number of unemployed workers totaled between 50 per cent and 60 per cent. Hence, fate required that we begin to recover from new measures that have been imposed”.

Sogojevo has said that even the shift in Kosovo has been hit like other spheres.
