The United Kingdom Ambassador to Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, on the show “Kallxo Pernime” has stated that the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia is not a football game in which a loss of the moment was seen.
Abbott said he does not view it as a race between Europe and America because, according to him, there is no real competition strategy or competition in the matter. I think that this is not a football game, where it would be seen a loss of the moment, and that's not a question of winners or losers, but it's a matter of diplomacy, negotiations, and part of it is the future of this region. So I don't look at it in the binary way of winning or losing, but I don't even see it, like you said at first, that this is a race between Europe and America.
In essence, if someone is a member of Quinn, a member of the European Union or the United States of America, there is no real competition strategy or competition in this matter. We all want to see Kosovo succeed. I want Kosovo to be an active and responsible member of the international community, close to Europe, with the United Kingdom and close to the United States of America”, Abbott said.
