The Balkan team qualified to Europe 2020 via the Balkan League, while veteran Goran Pandev, who then equalled the figures, achieved the first historic goal for this representative. Later, however, Austrians scored two more goals to win the meeting.
The match, held at “Arena Nationala” in Bucharest from the first minute, was launched by four Albanian footballers.
Ezdjan Alioski, Enis White, Arijan Ademi and Visar Musliu started in the selection formation Igor Angelovski.
However, at the moment of intoning the state anthem, while Macedonian players tried to motivate themselves by singing strongly, Albanian football players chose not to sing the anthem of Northern Macedonia.
