However, Hamiti stressed that what he saw at yesterday's meeting, Veliu has not opposed Ekrem Hysen's candidacy for Podujevo chairman.
I can't speak on his behalf. I knew it wasn't like that. And he said that he was talking about a big deal. According to him, he is appearing not to have sought to be a candidate. He did not object to the decision to appoint Ekrem Hysen to candidate the Podujevo municipality. He has high credit for the work he has done to strengthen the Podujevo municipality, where for 20 years or since the post-war, the LDK has won”, he said, on the “Fromental” show in T7.
Furthermore, the LDK member said he expects Veliu and Hyseni to work together for the officialisation of candidates for the assembly.
We have authorized, candidates for mayors to work with teams. We believe our candidate will cooperate with Mr. Veliu to make good officials for the assembly. We're a colleague and he doesn't talk about who voted. It matters a little. After all, it is party leadership decision”, Hamiti has said.
As for these candidates, Hamiti has said the decision on them has been placed in the hands of candidates for mayors.
“Ua we have left the candidates to work on more representative lists for the municipal assembly. I believe that by the end of the month or the other one will come out. We've submitted eight candidates for important cities. In other municipalities we still have work to do to see who are the right candidates”, he said.
Hamiti also spoke of Rama's candidacy for Pristina. He said the LDK has made the most appropriate choice by putting it in this position.
“He is part of the LDK, with the fact that he has gladly agreed to be a candidate for Pristina. I think it's a very good LDK choice for Pristina, but it's also a very good solution for Pristina”, he said.
He was also declared about Lutfi Haziri's candidacy for the chairman of Gjilan.
After the Convention that will hold the LDK, we will see whether Lutfi Haziri will run for chairman or someone else”, he said.
