It has shown that there have been fruitful discussions with the presidents of neighbouring countries, except for Serbia.
Osmani-Sadriou has not mentioned Vucicin at all, while he has erred as far as referring to Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski as president of Montenegro, Periscopi follows.
“During the summit and at bilateral meetings raised the issue of missing persons violently from the recent war. This point was included in summit concerts approved by the participating leaders.” writes Mrs. Osman.
She adds that Kosovo's voice was “, and its interests were promoted”.
Full status:
During the Brdo-Brijun process summit, I represented the positions of the Republic of Kosovo in bilateral and regional reports with Western Balkan states. The Republic of Kosovo is a permanent project, and our participation in regional and international initiatives is always based on equal treatment with participating states.
I had fruitful bilateral discussions with Croatia's President Milanovic, Montenegrin President Djukanovic, Montenegrin President Pendarovski and Albania's President Meta.
At these meetings, we stressed that the future of the region is membership in the European Union and in NATO. We also condemned ideas for changing borders in the region and the negative impact of other acts in the region.
During the summit and at bilateral meetings, I raised the issue of people missing by violence from the recent war. This point was included in summit concerts that were approved by participating leaders.
With the support of other heads of state, we managed to engage dangerous ideas coming from Serbia that affect Kosovo's interests and put regional co-operation outside the lines of EU rules.
The voice of Kosovo was heard and its interests were promoted. We are ready today and always for co-operation with our neighbours in promoting European values in the region.
