Police told Gazeta Express that at the scene there are three police patrols, and due to tensions, even municipal officials have been attacked.
Then the police intervened using spray.
On May 23rd, 2021, at primary school in Pash-Shipashnica and Post-Camenica municipalities, village residents have blocked the door of the school entrance in order not to let municipal officials decide within this school for pre-school children. At the scene are three PK police patrols, but the situation shows tense. There are about 50 residents of the village gathered in a sign of discontent where municipal officials have been attacked, where the spray has been used by police officials”, police said.
There's still no number of wounded, and the chairman of PDK, Enver Hoxhaj in his reaction, has said that “instead of the prime minister and minister of education sitting with the mayor and finding solutions to opening schools in Kamenica, they are using students to create dramas prior to local elections”.
