The leader of the Social Democrats of Vojvodina, about this event and the proposal, has spoken on a Happy TV show.
Canak says that during Kosovo's 2008 declaration of independence, he was the only one in the Assembly to ask Serbia's Constitution to be respected.
“Do you write in the Constitution that it [Kosovo] is part of Serbia's territory? Since no, then I said, “Turn on the tanks, we go to Kosovo! Let's go arrest the separatist gang in Pristina! ”, says Canak.
So how can I be a traitor now when I asked to become what was binding on the Constitution?
He said it was never about war because he knew that “Serbia could only lose the lives of its citizens in vain”.
