Gordan Grliq Radman made these statements before the EU foreign ministers' meeting, in which the Western Balkans is one of the main topics, writes N1.
Grliq Radman said the EU must engage more in the Western Balkans and have a strategic approach.
He stressed that countries in the region must work on democratic transformation, human rights and rule of law, and the EU must fulfil its promises.
“This means opening accession negotiations with northern Macedonia and Albania, visa liberalisation for Kosovo, Montenegro must remain committed on the European road and Serbia should focus on reforms and overcoming war heritage,” said Radman.
“We have to engage, invest in the stability and security of the Western Balkans, because these are investments in the stability and security of Europe,” finished Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs.
