Haxhiu stated that the Kurti II Government has priority in addressing domestic violence.
We will commit ourselves to taking measures to address domestic violence in order to be punished, not neglected, as has happened in the past. For us, increasing domestic violence remains disturbing. We plan today to test the governing programme and in this direction, many of the issues addressed even regarding domestic violence are addressed in the priorities of the Ministry of Justice, so that cases of domestic violence can be as small as”, she said.
The director of the Office for Aid and Protection of Victims, Basri Kastrati, said today's visit shows the seriousness and dedication to dealing with cases of domestic violence.
