This year's 95th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's birth will be a silent case following the death of her 73-year-old husband, Prince Philip, writes People.
The marked birthday of Wednesday's monarch will not be celebrated as usual, but the Queen and other family members often mark their birthdays by sharing new portraits with the public, there will be no photo released this year.
This will be the first birthday of Queen Elizabeth after the death of her husband, who was buried at St Georges Chapel in the Winter Castle on Saturday. He died on April 9th at the age of 99, just two months from his 100th birthday.
The queen is surrounded by her faithful staff and her three dogs (which she was seen at the Frontmore Gardens during the past week) at Windsor Castle, and family members will likely visit the monarch in the coming days.
